How to Transfer Wahoo Workouts to FATRACING
Wahoo can be connected to FATRACING directly in your personal account. If direct connection is temporarily unavailable or a separate file trip is needed, the manual path remains via FIT and Intervals.icu.
1. Connect Wahoo directly
The user does not need to create their own Wahoo application or search for Client Secret. If the Wahoo button is not visible, refresh your merchant profile page. If you have another problem, contact FATRACING support.
2. Alternate way: Download FIT from Wahoo
- Synchronize your device with the Wahoo app and make sure that the workout appeared in the history.
- In the app Wahoo Open it History and choose a workout.
- Press menu ⋯ in the upper right corner, then Share activity.
- Select Download .fit activity and save the file through the phone menu. If necessary, transfer it to a computer.
These item names refer to the Wahoo app. In other versions of the application or in ELEMNT, the menu may be different. The actual steps and images are in official Wahoo instructions for exporting activity.
3. Upload the ride to Intervals.icu
- Log in to Intervals.icu.
- Open the calendar Activities, click Upload and select the saved FIT file of the completed trip.
- Wait for the activity to appear. Open it and check the date, distance and duration with Wahoo.
If the ride is already in Intervals.icu, you don't need to upload it again. In this step, the recording of the completed workout is transferred; the file of scheduled intervals is not suitable for it. About uploading files: instructions on the Intervals.icu forum.
4. Connect Intervals.icu to FATRACING
Follow connection guide Intervals.icu: it shows where to get the API Key and what to specify in the Athlete ID. If Intervals.icu is already connected, you don't need to repeat the setup.
Then open personal account → Training and find the trip in the Intervals.icu block. Check its date and name. The connected source in the cabinet will be Intervals.icu, even if the recording was made on Wahoo.
If there is no trip
- The workout has not appeared in Wahoo yet
- First, finish syncing your device with the app. You need to export the saved workout from the history.
- The file was uploaded, but the date or data is incorrect
- Check the entry in Wahoo and Intervals.icu. Check the time zone and that you have selected the file for the desired trip. FATRACING shows the data of the connected source.
- There is a trip in Intervals.icu, but not in FATRACING
- Check the Intervals.icu connection in the cabinet settings, update the training list and check the Athlete ID with the account where you uploaded the file.
