The "from" price shows the initial cost of a particular job. It does not mean that this amount will include diagnostics, restoration of coverage, disassembly of the bike and shipment. For comparison, we need the same source data.
Prepare a workshop request
Specify the model and year of the frame, the location of the damage, the circumstances of its occurrence, and previous repairs. Attach an overall view and several clear photos of the area from different sides. Ask if this is enough for a preliminary assessment or if an inspection is required.
Do not try to determine by price or photo whether the frame is suitable for operation: the possibility of restoration and the scope of work is determined by a specialist after diagnosis.
Divide the estimate into works
- Inspection and diagnostics, conditions for issuing a conclusion.
- Restoration of the damaged area.
- Preparation and restoration of paintwork.
- Disassembly and assembly of the bike, if you transfer it as a whole.
- Round-trip delivery and packaging.
Specify which positions are required in your case, and which can be agreed later. Ask to contact you if the scope of repairs changes after the inspection.

Terms, shipping and warranty
The repair period and the place in the queue are different things. Specify the date of admission, the reference point of readiness and when the master will be able to name the final amount. Before shipping, agree on which parts to remove, how to pack the frame and to which address the workshop accepts it.
Ask for a written description of the guarantee: what kind of work it covers, under what conditions it works and how to handle a problem. Examples of similar restorations help to discuss the task, but do not replace the inspection of your frame.
