Notification of a possible* lowering of the duty-free import limit

Notification of a possible* lowering of the duty-free import limit 🤓 Possible* In Russia and other EAEU countries, the customs limit for parcels from abroad of 200 € / 31 kg will be refunded . The weight or cost above is subject to a duty of 15% of the excess, but not less than 2 euros per 1 kg. For example, if a parcel costs 210 € and weighs 31 kg, then the fee must be paid from 10 €, which is 1.5 €. If the package costs 200 € and weighs 35 kg, then the duty will have to be paid from 4 kg, which is 8 €. 🎉 Updated the customs duty calculator — if the value of the parcel exceeds the possible* limit, the bot will calculate the duty approximately. 🧘 The fee is paid upon receipt, and the duty-free limit applies to each individual parcel and is not cumulative. * The increased limit of 1,000 € has been extended 4 times in a row, the current deadline is April 1, 2024. The extension is for 6 months, and the statement will be published at the end of March. So if you have planned a large purchase, then it's time to make it! #cyclingmarket #tradeinn
