How to list an item on the FATRACING marketplace

You can submit a listing through your account on the website or through the Telegram bot. Both require a linked Telegram account, which buyers use to contact you. Listings need a photo. After submission, a listing is reviewed and stays active for 30 days.

Before you start

Filling takes a couple of minutes if everything is collected in advance:

  • Photo: from one to ten pictures. The ad won't be sent without a photo — in the feed flea markets only the cards with the image remain. Shoot in daylight from both sides, separately show the transmission, wear and defects.
  • Name: make, model, year and size — what a person is looking for: "Specialized Allez 2021, 54". Service words like "RAISED" are not needed in the title.
  • Price in rubles: a number without currency and spaces. You don't have to specify the price, then the card will say "The price is not specified" — they write less often on such ads.
  • City: the catalog filter works on it.
  • Status: new or used.
  • Description: equipment, size, mileage, what has changed, known defects, shipping conditions. Honestly described wear saves correspondence.

Method 1: personal account on the site

  1. Log in to the site: button "Cabinet" in the header. Login is possible via Telegram, VK ID, Yandex ID or mail.
  2. Open the tab marketplace.
  3. Fill out the form: category, name, price, city, condition, description.
  4. Add a photo — you can select several files at once, up to 10 pieces, each up to 8 MB (JPG, PNG or WebP).
  5. Click "Submit for moderation".

The draft is saved on the server immediately, and the photos are uploaded one at a time, so do not close the tab until the message about sending appears.

Method 2: Telegram bot

In the bot @fatracingbot the same wizard works:

  1. The team /sell — start the announcement.
  2. The bot will ask for the category, name, price, city, description and condition.
  3. Send a photo — you can send several messages, up to 10 pieces, then click "Done".
  4. Check the preview and click "Publish".

The team /my_ads shows your ads and their status, /market — marketplace menu with subscriptions to new ads by category and keywords.

Moderation, deadlines, and statuses

After sending, the ad gets the status "under moderation" and it doesn't show up in the catalog yet. The moderator checks that this is a bike or a set of tires, that the photos match the product and there is no spam or other people's ads in the text. It usually takes a few hours.

Published
An ad in the catalog at /market/<номер>, the link can be sent to chats.
Rejected
The reason is visible in the office. Correct the remark and submit the ad again.
Sold / withdrawn
The ad was removed from the catalog by you.

The publication period is 30 days from the date of submission. After that, the card disappears from the catalog, and the ad must be submitted again.

After publishing

The buyer clicks "Write to the seller" in the card and gets into your Telegram. If the account does not have a username, the button will not appear, and there will be nothing to contact — create a username in the Telegram settings before submitting the ad.

When the item is sold, open the tab marketplace in the cabinet and click "Sold" — the card will be removed from the catalog. The "Remove" button removes the ad if you change your mind about selling. In the bot, the same actions are available via /my_ads.

The price in the published ad cannot be changed: remove it and submit it again with a new price. So buyers do not have two different prices for the same thing.

What will be rejected

  • Ads without photos or with photos from the Internet instead of their own.
  • Off-topic items: anything that's not a bike, not components, and not gear.
  • Advertising stores, services and channels instead of selling a specific thing. Suitable for shops and workshops Partners section.
  • Duplicates: multiple identical ads about the same thing.
  • Marks "sold" in the text — there is a "Sold" button for this.

FATRACING does not participate in the transaction and does not verify the thing: publication in the catalog does not guarantee anything to the buyer and does not insure the seller. Do not send an advance payment using links from correspondence and do not dictate codes from SMS.
