Yelets — Novosil — Mtsensk along small rivers

A ride from Yelets through the Vorgol, Semenyok, Gogol and Rakovka valleys towards the Zusha and Mtsensk. The group travelled over five calendar days in June 2024. Dirt tracks and fields alternate with paved roads, with fords and overgrown sections. The source gives 340 km; the saved GPX measures 338.21 km.

No field verification. Current rideability, permitted access, drinking water and operating shops are unconfirmed. Elevation gain is unknown. A demanding touring option with no established official grade. There are fords, a damaged bridge on day two, disappearing tracks and ploughed fields; their 2026 condition is unknown. The author bypassed a fenced pasture near Semenyok by road; passage through it is not proposed. Do not cross fences or crops. The author suggests late May after drying, or late summer to early autumn. Water and shops are historical observations from 2024. The GPX has no elevations and a maximum point interval of 943 m; ascent is unknown and no field inspection was conducted.
