The duty-free import limit of purchases from abroad of 1,000 € / 31 kg was extended until October 1 , 2023 . Before this date, parcels worth up to 1,000 euros / 31 kg can be imported to Russia and other EAEU countries without paying a duty for them. The weight or cost above is subject to a duty of 15% of the excess, but not less than 2 euros per 1 kg.
For example, if the product costs 1,100 euros and weighs 30 kg, then the duty will need to be paid from 100 euros — in terms of exceeding the cost threshold, this is 15 euros. But if the product costs 1000 € and weighs 35 kg, then the duty will have to be paid from exceeding the weight threshold of 4 kg, which is 8 €.
🧘 The fee is paid upon receipt of the parcel, and the duty-free limit applies to each individual parcel and is not cumulative. You can order an infinite number of packages worth up to 1000 € / 31 kg for each and not pay the fee.
